A pet dog has been placed in quarantine in China after testing positive for COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus.
It comes as the disease continues to spread rapidly around the globe, now topping 90,000 cases worldwide. To date, U.S.officials have reported nearly cases nationwide — including 48 cases among people repatriated from China — and from the Diamond Princess cruise ship — with six fatalities.
