Made In America: A July 4th Celebration Of Homegrown Classical Greats

  

We honor great American composers every day on CapRadio but we reserve one special day each year for showcasing their music in a really big way.  This July 4th you’ll hear dozens of works by a wide variety of Americans, from Copland, Gershwin, Barber and Bernstein to Florence Price, Amy Beach, John Williams, and William Grant Still.  Starting at 6 a.m. we’ll feature multiple selections every hour during our classical programming. Then stay tuned after 7 p.m. for Excellence in Jazz, the music dubbed America’s great gift to the world.
