The web player is a built-in mp3 streaming player. It uses either the Windows Media Player plug-in or the Real Player plug-in
Requirements
Errors

Plug-in appears, but there is no sound
Wait a few moments for the audio to download. It should automatically start playing once it has downloaded.
If audio still does not play:
- Close the Audio Player window
- Launch Windows Media Player
- Go to Tools | Options | Player
- Make sure Connect to the Internet... is checked.
- Close Windows Media Player
- Re-open the Audio Player window from the website.
If this does not work, click on the link Open in your Default Media Player to open the mp3 stream in your default streaming audio player

Unable to Detect Plug-in
When the browser you are using is unable to detect a compatible media player plug-in try the following options:
- Use a browser that does support plug-in detection and plug-in version detection (Internet Explorer.)
- Use the alternate links to launch your default external player and listen to the stream.
- Install the Real Player plug-in which does not require plug-in version detection

Streaming Plug-in Not Found
You are not able to use the web player because you do not have a compatible mp3 streaming media player plug-in installed. Try the following options:

Plug-ins Not Supported
Your current browser and operating system do not support the detection of plug-ins. Try the following options:
- Use a different browser when accessing the streaming player
- Use the alternate links to launch your default external player and listen to the stream.

AOL Browser Not Supported
The AOL browser does not support our web player.
To use the web player:
- Connect to the internet using AOL
- From Windows, open Start | Programs | Internet Explorer or From Mac, open Safari
- In the address bar of Internet Explorer or Safari, enter http://www.capradio.org/stream and press Go
- Follow the steps to open the stream in the web player.
To open the stream in an external mp3 streaming media player using AOL:
- In AOL, goto Keyword: Preferences
- Select Multimedia Settings
- Uncheck Use AOL media player for supported file types and press OK
- Repeat the steps to open the Stream. When you Select a Preferred Player, select either Windows Media Player 9 or Other MP3 Player
If you are unable or choose to not use the web player, you can listen to mp3 streams using your external default mp3 streaming media player.

Changing your Default Player
When you click to open the MP3 stream externally in your default media player, whatever player is setup as your default will open the mp3 stream. See Silent Way's article on "How to set your default mp3 streaming player" for more information.

The Stream Does Not Play, You Hear nothing
You may not have one of the required players installed. Install a compatible mp3 player.

Windows Media Player cannot play this file.
You may need to adjust the settings of Windows Media Player:
- Launch Windows Media Player
- Go to Tools | Options | Player
- Make sure Connect to the Internet... is checked.
- Close Windows Media Player

Cannot open. Please verify that the path and filename are correct and try again (Error=8007000D).
Earlier versions of Windows Media Player do not support the playback of mp3 encoded streams. Upgrade Windows Media Player to the newest version or use a different player that supports mp3 streaming

The server received invalid data from the client on the control connection

An error occurred
Windows Media Player on some operating systems (Mac) may not support the playback of mp3 encoded streams. Use a different player that supports mp3 streaming like iTunes

Windows Media Player Encountered an Unknown Error
We may be experiencing technical difficulties delivering our stream. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working on the problem.

3285 Disconnected
Earlier versions of QuickTime do not support the playback of mp3 encoded streams. Upgrade QuickTime Player to the newest version or use a different player that supports mp3 streaming

Network Error: the file could not be played. Check to be sure you are still connected to the AOL service.
There may be problems streaming audio through AOL's media player. You can work around the error by access the streaming page using Internet Explorer or Netscape outside of AOL or by disabling the AOL media player:
- In AOL, goto Keyword: Preferences
- Select Multimedia Settings
- Uncheck Use AOL media player for supported file types and press OK
- Repeat the steps to open the Stream. When you Select a Preferred Player, select either the Windows Media Player 9 or Other MP3 Player option

Can't Write Disk Stream
WinAmp is setup to save (rip) a stream to your computer. Unfortunately, our stream setup and license agreements do not allow this. To change the output of WinAmp to not rip the stream:
- Press Ctrl + P to open WinAmp preferences.
- Select Plug-ins | Output
- Select the Direct Sound output v....(out_ds.dll)
- Press Close to close the preferences dialog box
- Reconnect to the MP3 Player stream

HughesNet (Direcway) satellite: Network Error. Verify that you are connected and that proxy settings are correct
Users connecting to the internet using HughesNet (formerly Direcway) satellite have experienced problems streaming. This problem is traced back to the satellite network's inability to deliver the streaming data and is not a problem with the streaming setup at CPR nor your media player configuration.
