The Chicago Cubs, who haven’t won a World Series since 1908, eliminated the Pittsburgh Pirates in last night’s National League Wild Card Game. The Cubs now move on to play the St. Louis Cardinals in one of the NL Division Series. The other NL Division Series game features the New York Mets and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Those series begin Friday.
Today, the two American League Division Series start. The Texas Rangers play the Blue Jays in Toronto this afternoon and the Houston Astros are in Kansas City to play the Royals tonight. Here & Now sports analyst Mike Pesca joins host Robin Young to take a swing at what’s going to happen.
