A judge ruled yesterday that there will not have to be a vote before the city of St. Louis spends public money on a new stadium for the St. Louis Rams.
The city is trying to keep the NFL team from moving back to Los Angeles, where the Rams moved to St. Louis from in 1995. NFL owners meet next week to discuss the Rams plan for a new California stadium, as well as rival plans to bringĀ an NFL team to Los Angeles.
Jo Mannies, political reporter for St. Louis Public Radio, joins Here & Now‘s Jeremy Hobson to discuss.
