White House To Phase Out Coolant Linked With Climate Change

The Obama administration will announce plans to phase out R-134a today, a popular chemical coolant that’s been linked with climate change and is used in both refrigerators and air conditioners.
The new measures would consist of a series of voluntary commitments by chemical firms and retailers to phase out R-134a, according to the Washington Post.
The Wall Street Journal‘s Jason Bellini joins Here & Now‘s Jeremy Hobson to discuss how this will impact businesses that sell the chemical.
