Many of our listeners expressed their disappointment over our coverage of marijuana, which they believe is one-side. We've invited Ethan Nadelmann, founder and executive director of the Drug Policy Alliance, to give a different perspective. (Gage Skidmore/Flickr)
We’ve heard from many listeners this week who are unhappy with what they feel is our one-sided coverage of marijuana.
They pointed to a series on teen use and prevention from Colorado Public Radio. Listeners objected to calling pot smokers “addicts.” Others complained that pot is an adult activity the same as alcohol. And some felt that our story yesterday on a study about young adult users was alarmist.
So let’s hear from a leading voice on drug decriminalization. Ethan Nadelmann of the Drug Policy Alliance joins Here & Now’s Jeremy Hobson to present an another viewpoint.
