Chicago Officials Cite Improving Crime Rate

In 2012, the city of Chicago saw more homicides than any other in the country. But according to one new study, crime in Chicago has dipped to a 40-year low.

The study is from Andrew Papachristos, a criminologist and associate professor at Yale University. WBEZ legal affairs reporter Robert Wildeboer joins Here & Now’s Jeremy Hobson with details.
