KEITH BRAND: Keith Brand here with Sleepy Hollow until 11 o'clock this morning. And, again, if you have any questions about Sleepy Hollow music, feel free to give me a call.
MARTIN: Keith Brand is one of the program's DJs, and today he retires after 27 years behind the mic. In addition to getting his weekends back, he'll be spending more time at Rowan University, where he was recently elected Chair of the Radio Television and Film Department. Brand says he's going to play some of his favorite goodbye songs on the show today, including Cole Porter's "Every Time We Say Goodbye," Vera Lynn's "We'll Meet Again" and Roy Rogers' "Happy Trails."
(SOUNDBITE OF SONG, "HAPPY TRAILS")
ROY ROGERS AND DALE EVANS: (Singing) Happy trails to you, until we meet again...
MARTIN: So, today we say happy trails to DJ Keith Brand from our public radio family at WXPN, Philadelphia. This is WEEKEND EDITION from NPR News, I'm Rachel Martin. Transcript provided by NPR, Copyright NPR.
