If he wanted, Tom Brosseau could walk around with a huge chip on his shoulder. After a childhood spent singing in his chuch choir, his adult life has included working with John C. Reilly and John Parish to touring the world with his original music. Brosseau remains humble, thankful and true to himself.
"A convention or a device of pop music is you need to keep bringing people back to the hook, to the chorus or refrain. Because that one thing is gonna bring a little bit more money or maybe a bit more commercial appeal. I’ve not really been interested in any of that."
Tom Brosseau joined Blue Dog Jam host Nick Brunner to talk about his new record Perfect Abandon and the stories behind his songs. The full version will be airied Saturday night at 7:00.
