Jeri Nylund's Classical Moment

My father introduced me to classical music when I was a child. I especially remember that he loved to play the "1812 Overture" and turn up the volume on the living room stereo console when it came to the part with the cannons! This was done much to my mother's chagrin (she was not a classical music lover and he might have done it to bug her)! I loved the music and its power and I added many classical music records to my music collection when I moved out and had my own place and stereo.

I have been contributing to public radio stations that play classical music for much of my adult life and I thank you for continuing to make this great music accessible for all!
