Cable Royalties for Public Radio Stations
Cable companies have set aside royalties to be paid to public radio stations for programming that cable companies provide on their FM and AM radio service.
Capital Public Radio can claim its share of these royalties by demonstrating local cable company's usage of our programming. The FCC requires listener e-mails or letters to document that usage. The royalties are not large amounts, but as a member supported organization, every dollar counts.
If you hear us via a cable company's service, your letter or e-mail attesting to that fact would help and be greatly appreciated.
Please include the following in your letter or email, or use our online form:
- Tell us you listened via cable during 2013 and/or 2014
- Call letters of station you listened to
- Your Name, Town and County
- Cable Company Name
- Cable Company Billing Address and Phone (if available)
