A brush fire is burning at the Hunter Creek trail head near Reno.
No strucures are threatened, and officials say the fire is 35 percent contained. The fire is around 50 acres, down from earlier estimates of closer to 200 acres.

Officials are recommending people avoid the area.
The Reno Fire Department, Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District and Nevada Division of Forestry are all responding.
