UPDATE 7:28 a.m.: Sacramento International Airport reported on Twitter that system issues are still affecting flights out of Terminal A. It also said in a press release that it will host a simulated emergency exercise it is required to have every 3 years.
UPDATE 6:40 a.m.: Alaska Airlines and Southwest flights are taking off without delay from the power outages at Sacramento International Airport. Network restoring is expected in about 15 minutes, the airport's Twitter reports.
Massive network outages are causing expected flight delays at Sacramento International Airport.
The airport's Twitter handle first reported computer issues at around 5:45 a.m. and says IT crews are working on the scene.
Southwest remains unaffected. TSA checkpoints are open and operational while bag checks are being done manually.
The airport is frequently updating the power repairs on its Twitter handle. There is no known cause for the outages yet.
