Sacramento Sheriff: One Dead, Two Injured In Foothill Farms Shooting

The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department is investigating a shooting that took place late Friday night and left a 17-year-old male dead and two others wounded.

The department said in a Saturday press release it responded to a call Friday just before midnight. The 17-year-old victim was found with gunshot wounds to the upper torso and pronounced dead at the scene.
Another victim, a 36-year-old woman, found at the scene with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the lower body, was transported to a hospital. A third victim, a 19-year-old male, came into a local hospital with gunshot wounds to the lower body and is also expected to survive.

The department's homicide detectives believe the shooting took place after an argument broke out at a house party.

The victim's identity has yet to be released.
