Sac County: Storm Damage To Total "Tens Of Millions"

Sacramento County says damage from this year's storms and flooding is in "the tens of millions of dollars."

Matt Robinson with the County says it is still adding up all the damage amounts, and has asked for federal assistance.

"FEMA came out to the south county area in Sacramento County to look at the area of Wilton as well as Point Pleasant and areas that were affected by the recent storms,” Robinson says.

Tyler Island was also affected.

San Joaquin County says damage from January storms could reach $3 million. That amount could double when reclamation districts submit their claims for last month's damage around Lake Don Pedro.

In Sutter and Yuba counties combined, there could be $35 million in damage.
