Sacramento police say they've made 20 arrests in connection with a string of robberies in South Sacramento targeting Asian Americans.
Investigators don't believe the suspects are connected to each other though they used similar tactics in the hold ups.
Police say increased patrols and community outreach helped reduce robberies in four targeted neighborhoods by 43 percent last month compared to August.
Sacramento police came under criticism from several Asian-American groups who said the department was slow to respond to the robberies that began four months ago.
