Council To Vote On City Suite For Kings Games

  •  Bob Moffitt
Tuesday, September 27, 2016 | Sacramento, CA | Permalink

The Sacramento City Council is expected to agree Tuesday's meeting to one of the perks that comes from the contribution of $223 million for a new arena—free tickets and a suite.

The agreement with the Sacramento Kings would give the City 25 free tickets and a suite for each Kings home game at the Golden 1 Center.

The City would have the option of purchasing an additional seven seats. The City's suite number 32 is located at the northwest corner of the new arena.

Five free parking spaces would be available to the City for Kings games.

The City has hired a person to handle ticket requests.

Free tickets would not be available for the City if event promoters prohibit them.

Kings playoff tickets will also not be included.

Neither the City nor the Kings are saying how many non-Kings events will include free tickets, but tickets will be available for the Paul McCartney show.
