There's been a change in plans for the restaurant lineup at Downtown Commons. That's the retail area around Sacramento's new Golden 1 Center.
The Sacramento Business Journal's Digital Editor Sonya Sorich says around this time last year, officials announced three restaurants were coming.
"They were all new to the market," says Sorich. "Now we know that one of those restaurants called Pour Society is no longer coming to Downtown Commons. It will be replaced by a new concept which is called State Fare Kitchen and Bar that will emphasize California cuisine and locally-sourced ingredients."
Pour Society was a Houston-based restaurant. The change happened because Pour Society was acquired by a restaurateur who rebranded it as State Fare.
Sorich also tells us about the site of Nationwide Freezer Meats up for sale...18 local businesses that made Inc. 5000's list of fastest-growing companies...and a new dining destination for dogs.
