9:14 p.m.: Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders closed his rally Monday night with a reminder to voters to go to the polls on June 7, California's primary election.

Original Post: Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is in Sacramento Monday. The Vermont senator will hold a campaign rally at Bonney Field at Cal Expo Monday evening.

Sanders will travel to Stockton for another rally Tuesday morning.

An average of polls by political site RealClearPolitics shows former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton leading in the race by about 10 percentage points.

Clinton held campaign stops in the state on Thursday and Friday — visiting a bilingual school in Oakland and hosting a rally in East Los Angeles.
