(AP) - A group of students at the University of California, Davis who are demanding the chancellor resign say they have been threatened with disciplinary action.
The Sacramento Bee reports about 20 students are occupying the lobby outside Chancellor Linda P.B. Katehi's office Monday to protest her involvement with private corporate boards and to demand her resignation.
Graduate student Emily Breuninger tells the newspaper administrators told them they could face dismissal from the school.
The students say they plan to stay until Katehi agrees to meet with them.
Students began their sit-in Friday after being told the chancellor was not available to meet with them.
UC Davis spokeswoman Dana Topousis says the students were told they could make an appointment to see Katehi.
Katehi was criticized for joining the boards of a textbook publisher and a for-profit education company.
