Searching For Locally Handmade Gifts? Check These Sacramento Craft Faires
While the extremely organized have already crossed everything off their holiday to-do lists and can spend the next ten days sipping eggnog, the rest of us are still looking for just the right gift for many on our lists.
The Sacramento region is rich with makers and vendors looking to convince you to go handmade and local this holiday season and there are quite a few opportunities to check out these makers' wares.
Here is a compilation of the holiday handmade and local markets this coming week:
City Scout as a website spends the year curating the best food, events, products and business in Sacramento. This holiday market will feature City Scouts top picks, including baby and children’s clothing from Dear Cub, donuts from Sweet Dozen, lego-inspired iPhone cases from SquidCam, and organic scrubs and cleansers from Fit Face.
Sip a cocktail while making your own handmade holiday cheer. Admission is $25 or $18 for museum members. One cocktail or non-alcoholic beverage is included in the price of admission and supplies for making ornaments and other festive items will be provided.
