California's farm economy is continuing to grow, despite the drought. That's according to a new study from UC Davis Farm Economist Richard Howitt. He says farmers are relying on groundwater and have seen record harvests for tomatoes and almonds. The drought will cost California agriculture about $1.8 billion, but that's a small fraction of the state's $46 billion farm economy.
