(AP) - Sacramento authorities say a large-scale marijuana growing operation discovered in Antelope had a street value estimated at $4.5 million.
The Sacramento Bee reports Sacramento County sheriff's officials say about 950 plants and 200 pounds of processed marijuana was found Monday.
Multiple law enforcement agencies assisted in the case where evidence of bird fighting was also found. Sacramento Animal Control officers seized over 100 birds from the property.
Six people have been arrested as part of the investigation into a range of violations, including illegal cultivation, animal cruelty and altering a stream bed.
