"Downtown Sacramento got 0.06 of an inch, the Executive Airport-- 0.07, so just light amounts here in the Valley," says Smith. "Little bit more up in the mountains, got half an inch or more in some places up in the higher elevations."

Smith says there's no rain in sight over the next several days, but the higher temperatures -- above normal -- will stick around through the weekend.
