UPDATE 9:58 a.m. Adrian Brown Jr. was safely recovered and his father, Adrian Brown Sr. is now in the custody of the Sheriff's Department patrol deputies. Adrian Brown Sr. was compliant with deputies and will be booked into the Main Jail shortly.
Law enforcement officers are searching for a 4-year-old Sacramento County boy who was abducted yesterday. The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department says Adrian Brown Junior was abducted by his father from a family member's home. They say the father left in a 2005 Dodge Stratus with paper license plates.
The Department says the child takes daily medication for a serious medical condition.
Adrian Brown Senior, 29, has no visitation or custody rights to the child through the Sacramento Family Court system.
The child, Adrian Junior, 4, is an African American male who standing 3’0” tall and weighs about 30 pounds, with short hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a yellow t-shirt and black sweat pants. Adrian Jr. is considered to be at-risk due to Brown Sr.’s aggressive actions, unsafe driving and the likelihood that there is no child seat inside of the Dodge Stratus vehicle.
Anyone who may have seen Adrian Brown Jr. or Sr., is asked to call the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department at (916) 874-5115.
