(AP) -- A wildfire that has prompted evacuations and closures in Yosemite National Park is sending smoke into Yosemite Valley - prompting air quality warnings.

Park officials say the smoke from the 4,400 acre "Meadow fire" is affecting visitors, campers and employees - especially overnight and in the morning hours.

The fire has burned about 4,400acres, and the park has called in additional crews to help fight the flames.  The fire is five percent contained.  The park remains open, but a portion is closed, which includes the "Half Dome" trail and parts of the John Muir Trail.
