Authorities cleared the I Street Bridge after it was briefly shut down Tuesday due to police activity.
A closure was reported at about 6 a.m. The bridge was reopened at about 8:30 a.m.
The Sacramento Fire Department tweeted that a total of 25 firefighters responded to the scene to assist the police department.
