Diane is originally from Denver Colorado and has her degree in Journalism from Colorado State University. She sold advertising for the school newspaper and continued her sales career in print advertising after graduation. In 1986, Diane, her husband and their 2 small sons moved to Sacramento when her husband was transferred with Hewlett Packard. At that time, Diane was in the travel industry in sales and customer service. After major changes in that industry occurred, Diane found it time to move back into what she knew best; selling advertising. She worked for the Sacramento Business Journal in the advertising department for 5 years. Then in 2005, she joined Capital Public Radio. Over the past 10 years, Diane has enjoyed working with all types of businesses, small to large to help them grow their business.
Diane enjoys hiking, biking and travelling all over the world in her spare time. Diane and her husband David have a large, very productive vegetable garden each summer and share their bounty with neighbors and friends.
