A man is dead after a second shooting in Sacramento this weekend.
The Sacramento Police Department says officers responded to a call at 2:24 a.m Sunday reporting a man had been shot. According to a department statement, officers found the victim unresponsive on the south curb of the 2300 block of 51st Avenue. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing and no arrests had been made as of Sunday morning. The department says it believes the shooting was an isolated incident. The identity of the victim has not been released.
