Business Journal: Home Equity Loans, Seismic Requirements For Sutter Memorial Hospital, Major Developments
During this week's chat, Sacramento Business Journal Editor Jack Robinson spoke with CapRadio about a new report saying Sacramento is again becoming a hotspot for home equity loans that caused many people go underwater on their mortgages. He spoke also about a new law recently signed by Gov. Jerry Brown that requires Sutter Memorial Hospital an additional eight months to meet seismic standards even though the facility is set to be torn down. Finally, Robinson touches on two major developments including a $75 million PG&E training center in Winters and the 700 K Street mixed-use project near the downtown arena in Sacramento.
