Tiny Desk Sacramento Concert Recap

This past weekend, we welcomed hundreds of people into the CapRadio Garden to enjoy our second annual Tiny Desk concert. Three local bands performed for CapRadio Members and the general public over an evening of art, music and food. People drove in from Fresno, Vacaville, Stockton and beyond to enjoy cabaret, rock and funk jazz (with even some moments of classical).

We had a special surprise—The That band, which performed its first ever live show, featured two founding members of CAKE! You can learn more about our acts, including opener The Midnight Dip and headliner A Tribe Quartet, over on Hey, Listen!, our modern music discovery show hosted by Nick Brunner.

Be sure to follow our events calendar to see what else we’ve got going on.

And if you’ve been following our Print Radio art contest, winners were featured on concert merchandise. If you’d like to purchase a t-shirt or tumbler featuring custom, local artwork, you may do so here.
