Dear (salutation),
Subject: I’d like to ask a favor
Dear (salutation),
It’s that time of the year when we all come together to ask our community for support. It’s a unique moment for the station when our reporters, news anchors, music hosts, producers, engineers and everyone else band together to ask you to stand in support of public media — helping us stay funded so we can continue to serve the community.
What’s it like for our staff? We feel a deep sense of gratitude for the support we receive from you. We also have hope that the value we bring and the positive impact we make in our community brings people together to safeguard the future of our essential public services. With more than 70% of our funding coming from member contributions, we truly are a community-supported resource that operates in service of the community. That’s all thanks to you!
Members – individuals like you – keep CapRadio independent and empower our public service mission so we’re not beholden to corporate interests, billionaires or political agendas.
As we navigate increasing uncertainty about the future of a free press and access to credible information, CapRadio and NPR stand as a beacon of truth that is relied on for our trusted, respectful and informative coverage of news, politics and major events. As the end of our Spring Fundraiser is in sight, let us know if you are in a position to renew your membership to help secure the future of public media.
With gratitude,
Frank MaranzinoInterim General Manager P.S. It only takes you to prove that every individual has the power to make a difference. |
