Our newsroom didn’t shy away from reporting on ourselves and asking tough questions when the California State University audit revealed significant financial problems at CapRadio. On Insight with Vicki Gonzalez, we held multiple interviews with CapRadio Interim President and General Manager Tom Karlo, Sacramento State President Luke Wood and the university’s student body president to let our listeners know what was happening and what steps are being taken to move forward.

Like why PG&E, the largest utility company in the country, is raising rates about an additional $400 a year. We talked to an economist and a rate payer advocate to help you understand why this is happening, what alternatives could work and how to think about equitable distribution of these costs.
