While this news may not be shocking, the importance of sleep is being taking serious by some school districts. Hoping to improve students’ health, Davis Joint Unified School District is in the early stages of changing the start time at Davis High from 7:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. A formal plan has yet to take shape, but joining us to expand on the importance of sleep to teens’ health is sleep researcher Laura Barger.
