Sacramento-area homicide detectives are investigating the deaths of three men found shot to death in cars overnight.

One man was found in a car on Stockton Boulevard and Florin at 10:15 Thursday night.

Sacramento Sheriff's Sergeant Lisa Bowman says another man was found three hours later slumped over the wheel of a car at Greenback and Beech Avenue.

"As far as suspect description we have no witnesses that have currently come forward to identify any type of suspect motive or suspect identification at this time," says Bowman.

The Sacramento Police Department says it is investigating a shooting that took place at about 3:30 this morning on Broadway. One man was killed. A woman in the car with him was wounded, but is expected to survive.

Detectives have asked businesses in the areas of the shootings for video surveillance tapes.

The departments say they have no reason to believe the three shootings are related.
