Background: The Killing Of George Floyd, Trial Of Derek Chauvin

The death of George Floyd — who died after being restrained by Minneapolis police in 2020 — sparked nationwide protest, including in Sacramento. Former police officer Derek Chauvin was found guilty on all the counts he faced.
