The man suspected of being the East Area Rapist, also known as the Golden State Killer, has pleaded guilty to a series of brutal crimes committed throughout California in the 1970s and ‘80s.

The man accused of being the East Area Rapist is expected to plead guilty to dozens of crimes on June 29. The Sacramento County District Attorney's Office would not comment on the report, but the deal was reported by the Sacramento Bee.
