California Report Special: Women’s March

This live California Report special will include reporting and analysis from around the state on the marches and rallies planned for the one-year anniversary of the Women’s March in Washington, D.C.

The co-hosts will be John Sepulvado, host of the California Report morning service and Marisa Lagos, reporter for KQED’s California Government and Politics Desk and the co-host of our weekly politics podcast, “Political Breakdown.”

They’ll be talking with reporters covering rallies in the San Francisco Bay Area and across the state as well as in-studio guests. We’ll examine and report on the impact of the political activism around these marches and explore the gains and losses for women during the first year of the Trump administration. The producer for this special is Senior Editor Queena Kim.
