Christopher Fairman's Album Cover For "Oakland" / Courtesy

Sacramento musician Christopher Fairman has released a new album, #Oakland. The album grew out of a Kickstarter campaign, but not in the way you expect.

Fairman bought studio time to help fund Tiny Telephone Oakland, a new all-analog studio in Oakland. Fairman was joined in the studio by fellow musicians Chrisopher Vogel and Andy Miller and they laid down the tracks to six tunes, a mix of old songs that were never recorded and brand new songs that were finished while on the train and in the studio.

Fairman, Vogel and Miller join Beth Ruyak in studio to talk about the album #Oakland and we'll hear them perform live in our studio.
