R&B music festival Sol Blume roared back over the weekend from a pandemic-muted hiatus, moving to a much larger venue that brought with it more artists and tens of thousands of fans.
This year’s event in Discovery Park was the first since 2019, when the previously one-day festival was held at Cesar Chavez Plaza. Moving to a larger venue this year also meant bigger artists, which included all-female headliners: Jorja Smith, Jazmine Sullivan, Jhene Aiko and Summer Walker. Sol Blume also featured a number of international artists like Smith, Toronto duos Majin Jordan & DVSN, London singer Sinead Harnett and more. Sacramento-area artists Victoria Monét and Yelly also performed during the two-day festival.

Correction: A previous version of this story misspelled the name of Jorja Smith. It has been corrected.
