Sacramento Sheriff Seeks Vehicle In Fatal Carjacking

The Sacramento Sheriff's Department is looking for the car of 51-year-old Jeffrey Turner, who was killed Nov. 20. It's described as a dark green 1999 Infiniti sedan with 20-inch chrome wheels and a white passenger side front fender.

The Sacramento Sheriff's Department is now calling the death of a man found along a road in Elverta, north of Sacramento, a homicide. The death of 51-year-old Jeffrey Turner was originally classified as suspicious after his body was found alongside Kasser Road on Nov.  20.

Investigators now believe Turner was killed during a carjacking. He had been on his way to pick up his granddaughter for a doctor's appointment.

The sheriff's department is looking for Turner's car. It's described as a dark green 1999 Infiniti sedan with 20-inch chrome wheels and a white passenger side front fender. The California license plate is 6WQA315.
