Six People Collapse At Capitol During Rally

  •  Bob Moffitt
Thursday, March 31, 2016 | Sacramento, CA

The Sacramento Fire Department responded to calls for service from six people at the State Capitol Thursday afternoon.

Chris Harvey, with the Sacramento Fire Department, says five people were taken to the hospital.

"Complaints ranged from feeling light-headed and dizzy to chest pain, a number of different ages from mid-30s to late 60s," Harvey says.

The fire department, Sacramento Police and the California Highway Patrol responded at about 1:12 p.m.

No cause has been identified.

The people were in a group of 7,500 attending an event held by evangelist Franklin Graham.
