Students and staff at a Lodi-area high school will undergo testing for tuberculosis.
The San Joaquin County Public Health Services office has confirmed that a Tokay High School student has been diagnosed with active tuberculosis.
Health officials will conduct tests for the illness among students and staff who shared a classroom with the diagnosed person. The student is currently under medical care and the county health department says there's no longer a risk of further exposure to those at the school.
Letters have been sent to the parents of all the students.
