After years of work, officials will hold a ribbon cutting Friday to celebrate the completion of the Watt Avenue and Highway 50 interchange project.
It includes dedicated transit lanes, and aims to increase safety for bicyclists and pedestrians.
As part of the project, the Watt Avenue over-crossing was widened to add more lanes, and a continuous bike and pedestrian path was built along the east side of Watt Avenue between La Riviera Drive and the Watt/Manlove Light Rail Station.
