Four Sacramento Kings players paid $200,000 for game tickets and gave them to non-profit organizations in the Sacramento area.

Kings President Chris Granger says About 5,000 kids and families in the Sacramento region will get free tickets to a game this season.

"In some cases there will be tickets available for every game. In some cases there will be groups of kids and groups of family that are coming to select games."

Demarcus Cousins, Ben McLemore, Derrick Williams, and Jason Thompson donated the tickets.

The Saint Johns Program for Real Change, the  Salvation Army, and several veterans, youth  and family programs will distribute the tickets.

The donations follow the Kings' "Season of Doing Good" campaign that targeted 15,000 children and 50 non-profit organizations in the Sacramento region.
