Crews worked to clean debris and oil from a big rig crash on northbound Interstate 5 north of Laguna Boulevard Tuesday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol said the crash was reported at 10:30 a.m.
Multiple lanes were shut down as crews worked to clear the roadway of oil and diesel.
A SigAlert was issued at 10:45 a.m. and is expected to last until 2:30 p.m.
Multiple crashes were reported Tuesday as a storm passed through the Sacramento region. Motorists are being urged to drive carefully.
