Report Of Calaveras Teen Abduction 'Bogus'

Monday, November 17, 2014 | Sacramento, CA

UPDATE 6 A.M. Shortly before 10 p.m. Monday, Calaveras officials released a statement saying that the abduction report of a 14-year-old teen was a fabrication. 

Authorities said one juvenile has been taken into custody and turned over to the Calaveras County Juvenile Probation. 

The statement said the investigation used an "extensive deployment of resources."

7 p.m. - On November 17, 2014, at 10:00 a.m., Sergio Vazquez, was abducted from San Andreas, Ca.

Sergio Vazquez is a 14-year-old hispanic male, 5-feet 10-inches, weighing 170-pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans, and black snow-type boots.

The suspects are two unknown males. The suspect vehicle is possibly a white van, with an unknown license plate.
