Fire Officials Update On Preacher Fire Near Carson City And Wall Fire In Butte County

A fast growing wildfire near Carson City Nevada is threatening structures, but voluntary evacuations have been lifted.

As of Wednesday morning, the Preacher Fire scorched 4,651 acres and is 20 percent contained, with a series of storms in the area adding further complications.

We get an update from Nevada’s Bureau of Land Management on the blaze and hear from California officials on recovery efforts for the Wall Fire in Butte County.
