About two dozen people worked on the stadium overnight and throughout today installing plumbing, adding railings and testing the sound system.

Sacramento Republic FC President Warren Smith says the work will continue until the gates open and then he and his staff will celebrate.
"The thing about sports that is so cool is actually walking around and seeing the experience that people are having," Smith says. "So, tonight, we'll just be enjoying that -seeing the families and kids and hopefully some smiles on some faces."
The stadium has capacity for about 8,000 people.
The team drew about 20,000 people per game to its first matches at Sacramento State's Hughes Stadium.
Smith says next year the team hopes to expand Bonney Field to as many as 14,000 seats.
